Birthmark (2025)
This visually poetic short film, explores the quiet burdens a mother carried while immigrating to a foreign land in search of a better future for her children. It uncovers a deeper understanding of a mother’s sacrifices and a renewed appreciation for the strength and love behind them. Developed by Action for Healthy Communities, Edmonton, and produced & directed by Valentine Ukoh.
